What is the Colwell Blues Band?
It's me, Chuck Colwell. A professional Guitar Player and guitar teacher with
over 32 years of experience with a minor in music. I play rock, blues, jazz and dinner music for your
occasion.
How can one person sound like a complete band?
I use professional backing tracks that are very true to the original song.
These tracks take the place of a bass player, drummer and keyboards. They are made in such away that the vocals and
guitar parts are missing. That is what I play. It is all mixed and sent through a high end computer system.
Together it sounds like a complete band in Dolby 5.1 surround sound for a lot less money! Most songs are done as instrumentals
and I let the guitar do the singing. (Check the demo songs on this page.)
What type of music do you play?
Blues, classic rock from the 60's, 70's & 80's. Some Jazz and
Southern rock/country. Everything from dinner music to dance numbers. (Check the sample play list on this page.)
Karaoke with a twist.
With special software, You and your guests and sing karaoke to professional
tracks (not that cheesy arcade sound tracks.) I process your voice through professional grade recording software and effects to
make your voice sound the best it can. The twist is for an additional $5.00 a song (For the recording). I will
record you with the track in real-time and give you a CD of your performance.
You can play it anywhere you play any MP3 music CD.
